This expansion introduces a unique mechanic that grants players the ability to cultivate and grow their very own resource crystals, whether within the safety of their own base or out in the vast reaches of the open world.

Where to get a crystal?

It cannot be found or crafted: it only drops when mining any ore nodes (stone, iron, sulfur). The drop chance is quite low, so do not be discouraged if you don't get one from the very first stone you mine.

How to grow them?

There are two ways to plant a crystal:

  • In open ground: Simply plant it on the ground.
  • In a planter box: This will significantly speed up the process! It grows twice as fast in a planter box compared to regular ground.

Harvesting

Once the crystal is mature, it can be mined with a pickaxe or a jackhammer. Instead of raw ore, you will receive refined metals and sulfur that do not require smelting, and the total amount is increased by 1.5x (for example, instead of 600 units of sulfur ore, you will get 900 units of refined sulfur).

The maximum amount of resources can only be obtained from the final growth stage.
